Accountant
The Accountant is primarily responsible for taking actions that ensure transactions impacting all financial reports are properly monitored and posted in the proper period. This broad scope position liaisons with a public accounting firm to ensure the businesses fiscal obligations are met. Responsibilities include:
- Cash flow analysis
- Budget forecasting
- Payroll submission
- Year-end reconciliations, accruals and adjusting entries
- Completion of annual returns including company registration
- Oversees Production Accounting
- Joint Venture financial processing
Our successful candidate will possess:
- Degree in Commerce/Business Administration and experience in a similar type of position
- Equivalency based on knowledge and proven past performance to deliver these types of duties would be considered
- Experience in QuickBooks and DGL software is an asset
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
